What Spectate.gg is

Spectate.gg is a free League of Legends match-history viewer. It reads publicly available match data from the official Riot Games API and presents it back to you — champions, KDA, items, and aggregate stats. There are no user accounts: you do not log in, and we never ask for or receive your Riot credentials.

Data we handle

• Public match data. When you look up a summoner, we fetch their public matches and timelines from the Riot API and store them so the site loads quickly and can compute career stats. This is the same public data Riot already exposes for that account.
• No personal/sensitive data. We do not collect names, emails, payment details, or any login information. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site trackers.
• In your browser only. Your list of recently viewed summoners is kept in your own browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Clearing it ("Forget all" on the home page) removes it immediately.

How we use it

Stored match data is used solely to display match history and compute the aggregate statistics shown on the site. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating Spectate.gg.

Your data & deletion ("forget me")

Because match data is public and globally shared (a single game involves ten players and is stored once), the raw match records themselves are retained as part of the public archive. However, you can have a tracked summoner profile removed from Spectate.gg at any time — this untracks the account and stops any further collection for it.

To request removal, email privacy@spectate.gg with the Riot ID (name#tag), or, if you operate this instance, call DELETE /players/{puuid}. We action removal requests promptly.

Third-party services

• Riot Games API — the source of all match data, used under Riot's developer terms.
• Data Dragon & Community Dragon — Riot's own asset services, used to display champion, item, and rune art.
• Google Fonts — for typography.

Terms of use

Spectate.gg is provided free and "as is", without warranty of any kind. The match data originates from Riot Games and remains subject to Riot's terms; we make no guarantee of its accuracy or completeness. Don't use the site to harass others or to place undue automated load on it. We may change or discontinue the service at any time.
